Between 21st and 26th November 2010, a team of two prayer guides working in the tradition of St Ignatius of Loyola will be visiting the Chaplaincy to the University of Glamorgan. 24 places are available for students and staff members who wish to take part in the guided prayer exercises. The exercises use the Christian Bible, and are offered for anyone who is open to using the Christian Scriptures as a guide for prayer.

If you’d like to take part, here’s what the commitment involves:

  • Attending the launch meeting at 3.30 p.m. on Sunday 21st November and the final meeting at 8.30 a.m. on Friday 26th November.
  • Half an hour each day Monday-Thursday (22-25 Nov) to undertake the prayer exercise.
  • Another half an hour each day Monday-Thursday (22-25 Nov) to meet with your prayer guide.
  • Student participants, or anyone on a low income, are asked to contribute £10 towards costs for the course. Participants earning a full-time salary are invited to pay £25.

Don’t delay, book your place while there is still one available! To book, or if you have a question, email chaplaincy@glam.ac.uk telling us your name and which campus you are based at.
