GCSE and A Level Electronics Teachers' blog - Home is about »
Welcome to the Electronics Teachers Forum!
This Forum is for teachers of Electronics to network and discuss GCSE, AS and A-level topics, and how the University of Glamorgan can support the teaching of Electronics.
The Department of Electronics and Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Glamorgan has a proud record in providing high quality academic courses and research, and consultancy in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. We want to support the delivery of the subject in local Schools and promote progression. In order to facilitate this we have set up a forum that compromises Electronics Teachers across the UK and beyond.
The forum will:
- provide networking opportunities with other teachers and academic members of staff in the Department
- have a conference on 7th July 2009, where you can debate current and future issues relating to this discipline, and staff development opportunities
- the conference programme includes the WJEC senior examiner and Chief Executive of the Welsh Electronics Forum, Dr Chris Young
We would be pleased to assist you to deliver the GSCE/AS and A Electronics Syllabus through running practical laboratory sessions for your students using our facilities to support the theoretical treatment of particular topics such as AM , FM , PCM, and Fourier synthesis. We would also be able to provide career advice and guidance on the different pathways and courses.
So please use this blog to share your thoughts, pose questions, solve problems and anything else that will be useful!
If you would like to book onto the conference please contact Laura Gregory firstname.lastname@example.org
A full programme will appear here soon…
